Real talk...

Yep, here it is. My highly professional setup. Take a looksee. I joke about it being amateur-ish, but really, people have done more with less, and I'm actually quite fortunate to have what I have. Let's take the tour shall we?

Looking to the far right we have my shwanky (yes I know how it's spelled, say it like that out loud. It's more Shwanky) numark redwave headphones. Snug to the ear, with a cable for miles. Beside it sits my Alesis Multimix Audio Mixer, and connected to it is... aw you can't see it behind the pop screen! My beautiful AudioTechnica 20/20 carodid condenser mic. She's a beaut. There... There she is.

You'll notice all the foam and the blanket overtop of the whole operation... not to mention the towels under things. They do an impressive job of sound deadaning in the room. Although, there's not much I can do if a fire engine goes by wailing.

But that's what I have an awesome editing studio for. On my double screened (spoiled, I am) Mac Mini I have installed Cubase 8, a monster of a Digital Audio Workstation. A monster I'm still in the process of taming, but it works for what I need it to do now.

And finally, to help with the taming, and the narrating, and the acting... a nice cup of tea.

Black.

Hot.

No sugar (usuallly).

And if you want to get on my good side, I'm always up for a new brew.

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”
